Buying Art and Antiques in Plymouth

There is far more to do and see in Plymouth that what first sometimes meets the eye. Apart from attractions such as Plymouth Aquarium, Smeaton's Tower and a walk through Central Park and the Barbican and the chance for shopping in the new mall in the centre, there's also art and antiques!

Plymouth Auction Rooms situated in Cattedown on Faraday Mill Trade Park (5 minutes drive from the city centre) is one of the tPlymouth Antiquesop auction rooms in the South West of the UK. Events take place every few months and the latest auctions coming up are:

Antiques , Swarovksi & Collectables - 2nd March - 1030am.
Fine Jewellery & Watches - 16th March - 7pm.
Quarterly Picture Sale - 17th March - 6pm.


The auction rooms offer you the chance to also bid by telephone in addition to in person. If bidding by telephone make sure to register in advance and inform Paul of Plymouth Auction Rooms that you wish to use telephone bidding. There are some excellent items which come up in the auctions and also some very interesting items from local artists and collectors. if you are interested in art and antiques.
